Efforts toward Reduction of Controlled Substances

The world’s growing movement toward the reduction of chemical substances affecting the environment started
by the EU’s RoHS directive (Regulation of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment)
had a great impact on manufacturers of conventional solders mainly consisting of Sn (tin) and Pb (lead), in particular.
However, Nihon Genma also recognizes the importance of reducing the load on the environment.
We recognize that the reduction of environmental impact is an important issue for Nihon Genma.
For this reason, we are making company-wide efforts toward the development
and sales expansion of new products and technologies related to Lead-free solders under the slogan of
“making efforts toward the creation and spread of highly reliable, environment-friendly solders meeting global standards.”

We will continue developing environment-friendly products and technologies
while proactively working on the reduction of environmental impact, creating energy and resource savings,
and improving the work environment in our production processes.
